6/1/18 - This is a nice and original Ithaca made 1911A1 from the tail end of 1943. It was issued to the U.S. Army with proper inspector markings on frame and slide. The original finish rates at 90-92% with some finish loss on the trigger guard and more along the top of the slide. Comes with minty grips and 'L' marked mag. Also included is a holster that seems original to the era but not positive what it was designed for. It is being thrown in with this pistol for free, as the son of the vet states his father brought the gun home in this holster. Pistol has a Flannery barrel that has some corrosion throughout the grooves but good rifling.
