7/23/20 - This is an original WW2 Ithaca 1911A1, made in 1943. The gun comes with a 1943-dated, period-correct holster. The right side of the frame has a proper cross-canon military cartouche and is labeled "United States Property". The barrel, slide, and frame have British "BNP" proofs, which indicates that this particular gun was part of the British lend-lease program. The pistol has retained about 90% of its original finish. Most of the wear is thinning on the front strap. There is also muzzle wear, spotty areas of wear on the slide, and handling marks on the right side of the slide throughout. There are visible machining marks on the left side of the slide. The grips are excellent. Comes with a period-correct magazine. Shiny bore with good rifling.
