9/23/20 - This is an International Harvester M1 Garand, manufactured in 1954. The barrel is dated 1954 and marked "LMR", correct for this gun. The rifle is fully functional and has an excellent, shiny bore. The receiver, floor plate, and trigger group have retained most of their original finish except for some minor high edge wear. There is thinning on the barrel and barrel bands. There is almost no finish on the gas cylinder. The wood stock is in nice condition - minor dings and bruises throughout. There is an "A" marking on the grip and "US Government Property" written in marker on the butt stock. This gun was part of the Civilian Marksmanship Program and comes with a COA.
