5/1/18 - This is an all original configuration Inland Paratrooper Carbine, issued in 11/43. The early 6-digit serial Inland is very desirable as they were often issued to the 101st and 82nd Airborne Troops training for D-day in early 1944. The gun has no bayo lug with no indication one was ever installed. Also has the early flip site with S on the left side. The stock is Inland made with IO under the handguard and RI /3 on the grip of the stock. Cheek pad and folding stock are all original and excellent condition. The right side of the grip has the cross cannon cartouche, as well as RA-P . RA indicates Raritan Arsenal in Middlesex County, New Jersey and P indicates Henry Peterson who was the chief inspector between November 7, 1942 and December 31, 1946. Mechanically very good condition. Metal has original parked finish at about 90+%. The bore is excellent. Comes with a correct Inland magazine. Also comes with a correct WW2 canvas sling
