8/19/20 - This is an excellent example of a type 2 Inland M1A1 Paratrooper carbine from 1944. Terrific, original parkerized finish on the metal parts with just a bit of wear on the muzzle/barrel. A list of the internal parts is included in the photos for the listing. Barrel is Inland made and dated to May of 1944. Adjustable rear sight but no bayonet lug. Excellent stock aside from the common scratches where the stock folds into the wood and rubs against it. Crossed cannons cartouche on the right side of the grip. RI marked on the bottom. Mint bore. Comes with postwar carrying case.
