5/25/20 - This is an original Inland M1A1 Paratrooper carbine with original sling and a carrying case. This is a late-war example with adjustable rear sight but no bayonet lug. Barrel is Inland marked and dated to February of 1944. Bluing on metal parts is excellent with minor thinning on the barrel. There is some oxidation on the rear metal portion of the receiver. Pistol grip is marked RI on the bottom. IA marked magazine. The stock is in good condition but there is a thin surface crack on both sides, near the rear area where receiver sits in it. There are also the common dings and nicks from the stock being folded against the handguard. Terrific bore. Case is dated 1943 inside but may be a reproduction based off the clarity of the internal marking.
