10/8/20 - This is an Inland M1 Carbine from 1943 that was partially re-worked following the war, perhaps for Korea. Stock, barrel and receiver are all Inland marked. Barrel is dated to July of 1943. Stock is marked IO in the sling well with crossed cannons cartouche on the right side. Adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added after the war. Trigger housing is Inland marked. Hammer is 'W' marked. Inland slide (PI). Inland bolt (AI). Terrific bore and the stock is also in great shape.
