8/27/19 - This is a gorgeous example of a 1934 Mauser that was issued to the Germa Army. This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production, around 1940 or so. It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date. It is also Nazi test proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army. These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army. The original finish covers about 97% of the gun in a nice high-polish finish. The high edges at back and front of slide show minor thinning, and there's some rub wear on the trigger guard. Mint bore, and grip is nearly as nice.
