4/10/20 - This is a rare DWM model 1900 luger with American Eagle crest on the chamber. This is the first production model of this variation, made in or around 1900 with early dish toggle. These pistols went to the US retail market and the manufacturers at DWM realized that nation-based crests increased sales of these lugers, so that is why you find the American Eagle over the chamber. This is also why you see GERMANY marked on the frame, denoting these were exported for commercial sale. This pistol is in excellent original condition, with almost zero bluing loss. There are a couple minor spots of finish loss on the straps, but bluing is nearly entirely intact otherwise. There is, however, some notable oxidation on the straps and a bit on the sideplate. All matching numbers on the pistol with correct blank-bottom wood magazine. Mint bore. The excellent grips are numbered and matching to the gun.
