10/9/20 - This is a very nice example of a First-Issue DWM 1906 Navy Luger. The gun is matching and has the proper "Crown M" Navy proofs on the left side of the slide. There is an "M.A. 229" property marking on the back strap, just above the stock lug. No chamber date. The safety has been altered. The lower safety position has been milled and a new "Gesichert" added. There is not much actual finish loss on this gun, about 97%. However, there are tiny dots of dark oxidation throughout. There is minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, on the front edges of the frame, and at the base of both straps. It comes with excellent grips, and an un-marked, period-correct Navy magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pitting in the grooves throughout.
