6/14/19 - This is a nice example of an original FN Browning Model 1910 pistol with the World War II era capture documentation. The documents state that the pistol was brought back by G.E. Brosius, a Technician Fourth Grade, in May of 1945. The pistol is mentioned by serial on capture document and mailing certificate. Quite interestingly, the mailing certificates specifically mention that the pistol was captured before VE Day. Our best guess is that this was done specifically to denote that it was captured from battle, perhaps at the request of T/4 Brosius, as opposed to the many war trophies captured after the surrender. It is all original and retains about 90% blue, with some finish loss on multiple areas of the slide and the back strap. There is also some pitting on the grip safety, left side frame and a couple areas of the slide. Nice, original grips with no major flaws. Bore is shiny with strong rifling.
