9/15/17 - This is a nice, high-polish ac 41 Walther P.38 from WW2. It is a first variation with ac on trigger guard and high-polish finish. The original finish rates at about 93-94% with a nice front strap. Majority of wear is found near the muzzle or on the right side of the slide. The grips are numbered and matching to the pistol with waffen proofs on each panel. The magazine is an early Walther mag with proper numbering on the bottom of the base plate but it is not numbered to the pistol. Spine has two E/359 proofs. All small parts have E/359 proofs, which is proper for an early Walther P.38. Excellent bore.
