3/20/19 - This is a gorgeous example of a Winchester M1 Carbine from World War II. Serial dates this rifle to about 1943. The metal parts are in near-mint condition, with minor wear toward the muzzle and front sight. Minty receiver, and mint bore. W proof on barrel. The stock is mint but was likely sanded at some point as the proof marks are faded or gone. There is a faint cartouche on the right side of the stock but no marking in the sling well. MU marked handguard, which is an Underwood contract. Original sling and mag pouch. BW marked magazine, proper for a Winchester.
