6/4/19 - This is a near-mint example of a DWM Artillery Luger rig, manufactured in 1918 near the end of the Great War. It retains 98% of its original blue with a small area of wear on the barrel near the adjustable sight. The gun is all matching, except for the magazine. The shoulder stock is numbered 7649b, while the gun is numbered 7699a. There is no pitting, freckling or patination present. All the proofmarks are sharp. Excellent grips that are matching numbered to the pistol. This is a complete rig that comes with an excellent, maker marked and 1918 dated holster, original leather attachments and shoulder straps, a cleaning rod, and a beautiful maker marked double magazine pouch. Only noteworthy flaw is that the strap attaching stock to the holster is torn.
