SOLD - Excellent Walther PP - ac mismatch

7/10/17 - This is an excellent end-of-war Walther PP, with mismatched frame and slide, and 'ac' code found on the slide.  It is a known and somewhat scarce (~2,500) variation, as documented by Jan Still.   To quote Still, "some of the last production are mismatched, and without proofs or legend."  That description would be fitting for this pistol, as the serial found here falls in the final 1,000 according to Still.  The original finish on this pistol rates at 98-99%, with only minor edge wear.  Proper late-war wood grips and 'W' marked magazine.  Mint bore.
