SOLD - Excellent Underwood / Winchester Combo Carbine

7/20/18 - This is an unusual but correct Underwood / Winchester parts Carbine.  The barrel is Winchester marked with no bayo lug, nor evidence that one was ever mounted.   Rear flip site is marked "S" with no sign of being staked.  The receiver is Underwood marked but also marked WTA, meaning it was put together at the Winchester factory.  The stock show signs of light sanding but has a clear cartouche and Winchester inspector marks - WRA / GHD.  Early high wood Type 1 stock.  Type 1 front barrel band.   Maker marked WW2 sling.   U marked WW2 magazine.  Excellent bore.  A unique and rare, Winchester assembled Underwood Carbine.
