3/23/18 - This is an excellent example of a WW2 era Remington 1911A1. Its original parkarized finish is at about 97-98%. The gun has all of the proper inspections and proofs. There is the crossed cannon cartouche on the right side of the frame, along with the FJA inspector proof on the left side. The top of the slide and the left of the frame, as well as the barrel all have the P proof mark. The barrel is marked F for Flannery, which is proper for the 1944 Remington. The bore is minty. Comes with a wartime R marked magazine.
