7/8/20 - This is an excellent example of an original Inland M1 Carbine from 1943. Fairly early six-digit example with Inland marked stock, barrel, receiver, handguard, etc. A photo of the parts guide is included at the end of the photo group for this listing. Comparing to Canfield's book, appears to be all correct. Safety is not checkered, which should be right for this serial. Terrific original finish with most of the wear on the front sight. Barrel date of February, 1943. Stock has circle P and crossed cannons cartouche, as well. Minty bore. Stock is in excellent condition with a few dings and scratches but no major issues.
