10/6/20 - This is an excellent example of a DMW Model 1914 Navy Luger, manufactured in 1917. It is all matching, the chamber is dated 1917, and it has the proper "Crown M" Navy markings on the left side of the slide. This particular gun has retained about 95-96% of its original bluing. There is minor muzzle wear, wear on the side plate, around the high edges of the frame, and at the base of both straps. There are a few very light handling marks and areas of light spotty oxidation here and there. Excellent grips. Comes with a mismatched period-correct Navy magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is minor freckling in the grooves. This gun was part of the well-known Bob Young collection.
