5/24/21 - This is an excellent example of a dual-tone Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It gets its dual-tone appearance from the phosphate frame and slide and blued barrel. The gun is all matching and has the proper "waffen 135" military proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is just a hint of thinning on the front strap and one area of discoloration on the top plate. Some tiny dots of discoloration here and there on the slide. A few very light surface scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a proper magazine. Excellent shiny bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
