7/31/19 - This is an excellent example of a complete DWM Luger rig, complete with holster, cleaning rod, takedown tool and spare magazine. It is also chambered for the less commonly seen 9mm Para. Made 1910-11. No hold open and not modified. The pistol is all matching and original with 98% blue remaining, as there's only minor high edge wear from the holster. The straw parts are also near-mint. The magazines are period original - one is blank and one is numbered but mismatched. The blank magazine would be correct, but the numbered magazine would be for a military gun. Both are wood bottomed. The grips are unmarked and in excellent condition. The holster is also unmarked, and a correct commercial example. It has some age and cracking but no major defects aside from a couple missing stitches. The little square on the back is from a piece of clear tape. I could remove the tape but I fear that would only make it look worse. The take-down tool is East German made, so obviously just thrown in to fill the pouch. Original cleaning rod. Strong, shiny bore. Note: there is not lug stock on the frame. I believe this is a fairly RARE, early variation at a very good price.
