6/16/20 - This is an excellent Colt 1911 from early in 1918, only a few hundred serial numbers away from a small Navy contract order (223953-223990). The profile view shows minimal wear, just a bit on the high edges. Most of the finish loss is on the mainspring housing. Correct 'H P' barrel with a mint bore. 'H' marked slide. Very nice wood grips and a terrific two-tone magazine.
