12/22/20 - This is an excellent example of an original Colt 1911A1 from early 1943. It has the original matching slide, and proper Colt barrel with large G under the lug. The finish shows minor high edge wear on the slide edges and where it rubs against the frame when racked. There's also minor thinning on the front strap. Excellent grips. Proper inspector marks throughout. 'S' marked magazine. Bore shows minor use but is clean with good rifling.
