7/9/20 - This is an excellent Colt 1911A1 from 1942. It has about 97% of the original, parkerized finish remaining. There's very minor muzzle wear and a thin line of wear on the underside of the slide. Also a minor "idiot mark" on the frame. Correct WB inspector mark on frame, as well as P proof on slide and frame. Excellent grips. Magazine is 'C-R' marked on base. The barrel is Colt marked with 'S' under lug. It has strong rifling but unfortunately does have some pitting throughout the grooves.
