1/8/21 - This is an excellent example of a Colt 1911A1 issued to the US military in early 1943. It is all correct and has the proper military cross-canon cartouche. Colt .45 barrel. The slide is numbered and matches the frame. This one is excellent, retaining about 97% of its original finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, high edges, and on the front strap. Also on the front strap, there is minor patina, and unfortunately someone scratched the letters "XIX" into the metal. It comes with excellent grips and a post-war magazine. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
