5/18/21 - This is an excellent example of a 1954 H&R M1 Garand that was part of the CMP. The receiver dates to 1954. It has an International Harvester barrel that is also dated 1954. Throat reading: 1. Muzzle reading: 2. It has retained most if its finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle and spotty discoloration on the receiver. The stock has a "P" proof and a DOD marking. There are minor scratches, bruises, and dings throughout. The bore is shiny with strong rifling. Comes with the original CMP paperwork.
