12/21/22 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 manufactured in 1945. This is of the known GI mismatch variation, characterized by mismatched serial numbers in the "c" block, some phosphate small parts, and only one "Eagle 359" military proof on the right side of the slide. This one has retained about 96% of its original finish. The profile views are minty as the wear is primarily on the front strap where there is also some patina. There are some very light small scratches on the top and right side of the slide. Comes with excellent late-war grips and a wartime Walther magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional.
