6/15/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther G.43 Sniper Rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching and has the proper military proofs throughout. It comes with a period-correct ZF4 scope, scope mount, and eye cups. The optics are very nice with just a hint of cloudiness. It has retained most of its finish with some spotty discoloration here and there and minor wear on the bolt. The stock is excellent, matching, and waffen-proofed. There is a noticeable crack in the handguard. The markings are a little faint, so it was likely sanded. Comes with a correct magazine. The bore has strong rifling with minor oxidation in the grooves. The slide doesn't lock back with an empty mag - probably due to grease in the internals.
