SOLD - Excellent 1937 Mauser S/42 Luger - First Variation

10/10/17 - This is the early variation 1937 Mauser luger with dust blue and straw small parts.  The condition is beautiful with the original finish rating near 98%!  All parts are matching excluding the magazine.  Magazine is period correct with Eagle/63 proof.   Matching parts include the levers, hold open, firing pin, frame, barrel, toggle and receiver.   The left grip is matching, but the right grip is only marked S/42 - I believe this would imply an armorers field replacement grip.  The beautiful finish is only tempered by minor finish loss on the barrel and sideplate.  Mirror bore.
