7/13/20 - This is an excellent 1937 Mauser Luger with original, matching magazine. It's a first variation example with strawed small parts. There were only about 37,000 first variation pistols produced, as compared to about 89,000 second variation pistols with blued small parts. This one has 95+% of the original blue, with standard muzzle and sideplate wear, as well as an area of finish loss on the bottom of the front strap. The small parts retain about 90% of the original straw. There is some surface freckling on the sideplate and muzzle. Excellent bore. Grips are unmarked but fit perfectly and in excellent condition.
