3/26/21 - This is an excellent example of a Springfield Model 1903 Rifle issued to the US military during WW1. The receiver dates to 1918 and the barrel is dated October of 1918. The gun is in excellent condition, but it we believe it was refinished. There is wear on the barrel bands, top of the receiver, and on the bolt. The stock has a very faint proof on the wrist. We believe it was lightly sanded. It is in nice condition with minor dings and scratches throughout. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
