1/8/21 - This is an excellent example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German Army in 1914. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial and Erfurt proofs. It has retained about 95% of its original bluing. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty oxidation throughout. There are areas of minor pitting on the barrel and side plate. Freckling on the straps. There is minor wear around the muzzle, barrel, side plate, and high edges of the frame. It has excellent original matching-numbered grips. It also comes with a mismatched period-correct Erfurt magazine - small crack in the base. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling.
