10/30/18 - This is an original Kriegsmarine dagger with an etched blade, original portepee, and scabbard. The dagger has a very nice bakelite handle absent of cracks or chips. The portepee has some light fraying on a few small areas of the string, with the worst being just before the knot, but the knot is excellent. The blade is excellent and etched on both sides. One side is maker etched by F.W. Holler. Minimal blade oxidation. The largest flaw on this piece is found on the scabbard, which is bent downward starting about 2.5 inches from the tip. There's a few small dents on the scabbard in general, but the blade still fits with no issue. Guaranteed all original and authentic.
