9/25/19 - This is a nearly one-of-a-kind pistol to have come through the office. Firstly, it is a very rare Police Walther PPK with million series serial number. In 1939, serial numbers began rolling over into seven digits until the Germans changed their mind and went back to six digits with a K-suffix. There were only about 7,000 such serials used, and only about 1,000 of them were Police marked and issued like this one. Secondly, the pistol was professionally engraved at some point following the war. This pistol has all of the polished blue remaining but would've been restored during the engraving process. The pistol has a correct, rare magazine with Police-style numbering that matches the serial number of the pistol. Bore is mint. Excellent grip and finger extension magazine.
