9/19/18 - This is an engraved Mauser Luger that was manufactured in 1941 for the Nazi Army. The pistol was then custom engraved following the war, likely ordered by the owner. There is also some gold wash on the small parts, that create a nice visual contrast. The bluing rates at about 95% with minor edge wear and some scratches/scuffs on the straps. The grips and magazine are post-war productions. Fantastic bore. The pistol is not fully matching, as parts of the toggle/slide assembly are mismatched from frame.
