7/13/21 - This is a nice example of an Enfield No 1 Mk III* Rifle that was likely manufactured between WW1 and WW2. It has an "RF 47" marking on the receiver. This indicates it was factory repaired in India in 1947. The gun is matching to itself but the bolt is mismatched to the gun. Import mark on the right side of the receiver. There is spotty wear near the muzzle and on the receiver. Areas of spotty discoloration on the receiver as well. Scratchy wear and patina on the magazine and trigger group. The stock has noticeable dings, dents, and scratches throughout. There is a rack number painted on the left side of the butt stock. The bore is shiny and minty.
