SOLD - Winchester M1 Carbine - 1942

8/20/18 - This is an original Winchester M1 Carbine from the first large scale production run of M1s made by Winchester.  It has the original low wood stock with no 'belly,' and the right side of the stock is correctly WRA/GHD marked with crossed cannons cartouche accompanying it.  The barrel and sling well are both 'W' marked.  Magazine is SW marked.  Rack number visible on wrist.  The finish on the rifle is excellent with only minor thinning due to age.  Excellent bore and original sling.  Only knock is there is a thin crack in the stock that was professionally repaired.  Most would have a hard time spotting it if not pointed out, and there's a photo included at the end of the listing.
