4/17/18 - This is an absolutely incredible, early Sig P210 that was made in the late 1940's and is probably a first or a second year production gun. Serialization for Sig P210 models started at 50,000 and this gun falls into the first batch of 2,000  - actually the 1,574th made.  It is in as new original condition with no wear evident. We don’t believe it was ever shot after leaving the factory . All matching with mint grips and bore. The bluing is the early Sig lustrous high polished blue that was only used in the beginning of the production run before being superseded by a more durable but less aesthetically pleasing dull finish. The early green box is original and numbered to the gun. It shows age appropriate wear but is all intact with no pieces missing.   SIG P210 is universally considered to be the best “out of the box” semi-auto ever made, compared by many to a high quality Swiss watch. The slide design with the slide rails running inside the frame eliminates any slop between the two and the tolerances are nothing short of amazing. The trigger rivals the triggers of the custom tuned guns. Used by the Swiss Army and West German Border forces, Sig P210 was also the favorite of many target shooters, including the Swiss Olympic team of the era.  It is near impossible to find an early high polished Sig in such outstanding condition.
