5/19/21 - This is a nice example of an early-production Mauser Model 1914. The gun comes with a proper holster and magazine. The left side of the gun has somewhat of a strange appearance. First, the serial number on the left side of the slide is missing, as is part of the slide legend - we're not sure why. But the rest of the gun is matching. Second, the left side of the frame has a multicolored tint to it but shows no signs of being refinished. Third, there is a hard-edged bevel in the left side of the slide where the flat surface meets the curved surface. The gun has retained about 90% of its finish. There are some marks and spotty oxidation on the front strap. Minor wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. A couple of very small areas of minor pitting on the right side of the slide. Minor wear at the back left side of the slide. Comes with a nice wood grip with minor wear along the bottom edge. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
