1/3/19 - This is a super early and hard to find Mauser C96 that was part of the Italian Navy contract, as denoted by the DV proof on receiver. Serial is #1534, making it one of the earliest C96 pistols we've come across. It has early features such as flat side and large ring hammer. The finish appears to be a beautiful and professional restoration. The bore is MINT - looks nearly unfired. It comes with an original Mauser marked stock. Other, later brooms would not fit in the stock, so this stock seems somewhat unique to the early guns. It's in excellent condition with no cracks or major chips. The grouping also comes with a box of original ammo in minty condition.
