8/10/18 - This is an early and scarce Colt 1911 from 1914, when fewer than 40,000 were produced. It has a nice brushed blue finish with correct barrel and H marked slide. The finish rates at 80-85% with thinning on the straps and spots of finish loss on the slide that look similar to when a pistol has been exposed to (salt) water. Excellent grips and bore.
