7/21/20 - This is an early and somewhat hard to find military Colt 1911 from 1913. One of the first 30,000 produced, it has correct early slide with 1911 patent date. H mark on slide and 'P H' on top of barrel. Proper WGP inspector proof on frame. Early "half moon" rear sight and convex screw heads on right side of frame. The finish is original but somewhat tough to rate, as there's some general thinning in several areas, and some uniform patina to the slide. Nice original grips with minor handling wear. Bore shows some use and minor frost throughout. Correct two-tone magazine.
