10/25/21 - This is a matching and original Nazi-issued Spreewerk P.38 from early in 1943. It's an 'a-suffix' pistol, so fairly early for Spreewerk production. The pistol shows obvious thinning on most of the major faces of the pistol, and pitting on left side of slide/barrel, and a little more on right side of slide. Bore has strong rifling but some freckling in the grooves. Original WW2 grips show a notable chip in the left panel. Walther magazine. Good mechanics, including de-cocker.
