11/20/20 - This is a very nice and original example of a prewar FN Browning High Power issued to the Belgian military. The pistol is all matching with about 93-94% of the polished blue remaining. There's minor high edge wear on either side but generally the profile looks great. Most of the bluing loss is on the front strap. The pistol correctly has the Circle H proofs on most of the parts, and also has the serial number on the frame under the grips, which is specific to this contract. Correct early grips with painted red backing, and they're in minty condition. Bore has strong rifling but a bit of freckling in the grooves. Unmarked magazine. Tangent rear sight and stock slot in frame are also desirable features.
