6/22/21 - This is a very nice example of a DWM Model 1906 "American Eagle" Luger, chambered in .30 Luger. These pistols went to the US retail market and the manufacturers at DWM realized that nation-based crests increased sales of these Lugers, so that is why you find the American Eagle over the chamber. This is also why you see GERMANY marked on the frame, denoting these were exported for commercial sale. This particular gun is all matching and has retained about 94% of its finish. Most of the wear is on the side plate, but there is also minor wear on the side rails and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent grips and a proper "Germany" marked magazine. This gun also comes with a custom-made glass display case with a magnifying glass in the top to view the markings up close. This case was handmade by Gale Morgan. The rifling in the bore is slightly worn with pin-pricking throughout.
