7/11/17 - This is a late-war commercial pistol with the typical plum finish on the slide and frame. The finish rates at about 96%, with a spot of wear/stain on the right side of the slide. The front strap also shows some patina, as well as a machining flaw. The pistol is all original and matching, though the serial on the barrel and locking block does have an overstamp on the last digit. This was a common factory error in the late-war era. Correct grips and magazine. Action is tight when disassembling. Minty bore.
