12/30/22 - This is a very nice example of a Colt 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1942. It is all correct and has a "United States Property" marking and a military cross canon cartouche. It has a Colt .45 barrel with a large "G" under the lug. The slide is numbered and matches the frame. It has retained about 90% of its parkerized finish. There is minor wear around the muzzle, high edges, underside of the frame, and front strap. There is some spotty wear on the top of the slide. There is patina on the front strap. It comes with excellent grips and a proper magazine. The bore is excellent -shiny with strong rifling.
