2/24/21 - This is a nice example of a Colt M1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It has a "United States Property" marking and is Eagle Head military proofed. The barrel is marked "S P". This gun has an old re-blued finish. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of this finish. There is general high edge wear, minor dings and scratches on top of the slide, and thinning on the straps. There is also some light patina on the straps. Comes with nice original grips and a WW2-era magazine. The bore is very nice - strong rifling with minor frosting.
