6/30/21 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1909 issued to the US military in 1911. It is all matching, has "RAC" proofs on the frame and bottom edge of both grip panels, and a "United States Property" marking on the underside of the barrel. The gun is beautiful, as we believe the finish was professionally restored. It has retained virtually all of this bluing with a few very small handling marks here and there. There isn't even a roll mark on the cylinder. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Excellent grips. The bore is excellent - shiny with strong rifling. The cylinder release is a little stiff and hard to get open sometimes.
