12/26/19 - This is a complete and original Colt 1911A1 rig from 1942, issued to the US Army. The pistol is all correct and matching, including the slide, with proper inspector proofs and Colt barrel with small 'F' under lug. The finish rates at 90+% with finish loss along the top of the slide, left side muzzle and trigger guard. The pistol comes with a complete rig, including Craighead made holster, 1944 dated canteen, 1942 dated mag pouch and original first aid kit. Pistol has excellent original grips and 'R' proofed magazine. Bore is shiny with good rifling.
